Balapitiya

A seaside community in Sri Lanka’s South West is called Balapitiya. It is a little fishing community unaffected by commercial tourists. This region, which is 2 hours from Colombo, is well-known for beach vacations and family retreats. While visiting Balapitiya, you have the option of lounging on the beach, going fishing, or traveling to nearby places like Aluthgama to witness mask production, Galle to see UNESCO World Heritage Sites, Kosgoda to observe turtle hatcheries, or Bentota to participate in water sports.
